Dogs of War

Pearl Harbor, 1942. Douglas Clayton just graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in English Literature and has been assigned as the Engineering Officer aboard a submarine.

 

There are only two things you must know about the sub. First, the captain graduated last in his class from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis. Second, the sub recently sunk while tied up to its pier.
